Transforming Healthcare in Rural DRC: A Vision for Change
At SAKA International CIC, we believe in the power of community-driven solutions to create lasting change. Since our establishment in 2015, we have dedicated ourselves to uplifting communities in the UK and globally.
We are proud to announce a ground-breaking initiative in collaboration with The London School of Public Health (TLSPH): the establishment of a Nursing School and Medical Facility in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The Challenge
In the rural areas of the DRC, access to quality healthcare remains a distant dream for many. Poor infrastructure, a lack of trained medical professionals, and the absence of essential medical equipment leave communities vulnerable to preventable illnesses and medical crises. These challenges call for urgent intervention to address the healthcare gap and improve the quality of life for countless families.
Our Solution
We aim to build a state-of-the-art nursing school and medical facility to tackle this pressing issue. This project will serve as a beacon of hope for the region, providing:

Training for Future Healthcare Professionals: The nursing school will equip aspiring nurses with the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.

Essential Medical Services: The accompanying healthcare facility will provide critical interventions, preventative care, and health education to local communities.

Mr. Pierrot Ngadi serves as the Principal Coordinator for this project in the DRC. As a Universal Ambassador of Peace for the World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises, his extensive experience, knowledge of the DRC, and valuable government and international contacts make him a critical asset to this initiative.
